Welcome to our site, we’re Freek en Tiny

 You can find some general information here about the American Staffordshire Terrier.
And off course nice photo’s of our dogs and links to other nice websites.

Eight years ago we got familiar with the Amstaff through Tiny’s brother.
 Now we’ve got four Amstaffs of our own and are very happy to have them.
 One of them is doing very well at the shows now, and that’s our Gizmo!

Lady, our bitch, was doing very good at shows, but she didn’t like it very much.
That’s why she doesn’t do shows anymore.
 We thought it would be better for her if she stayed at home.

Randy is our first male and was also pretty good at shows,
 but he was too much of a terriër type, which is not preferable at shows.
 Although his looks weren’t rough enough he often got second place in the ring anyway, so, not bad. 

Then our fourth Amstaff, Timothy, is a son of Gizmo.
We actually didn’t want to take another dog,
but when we went to have a look at the nest Timothy came from,
we immediately fell in love with him.
And so, after discussing it with the breeder, we took him in. 

It was a guess if he was going to do well at shows, but we had good hopes seeing he has
inherited many of his fathers good qualities, like his character and his calm radiance.
 Another characteristic is, that he stays a pup in his behavioure for a long time just like Gizmo,
 but is not impressed by anything.
 He is also very sweet towards people, and that’s what we like to see!   

In the mean time Timothy has made a few nice results on several shows already,
 so it looks promising if he keeps it up. Time will tell if he’s going to follow in his fathers footsteps!?
But one thing is sure, if he doesn’t become a show dog,
then we will definitely have a sweet housedog!

What we want to say with this is; once we have taken a dog, we keep him!
